Thomas Earnest, Component Project Leader

   
   

BSGC Role

Dr. Earnest is a biophysicist and crystallographer who is the head of the Berkeley Center for Structural Biology at the Advanced Light Source. He will lead the process of automation of diffraction data collection, in addition to the operation of the biological crystallography facility of the Advanced Light Source.

Component Project Information

This component project will develop and manufacture instruments for automatic crystallization screening, crystal quality assessment, and crystal alignment for diffraction data collection and data processing.
